Walking in the Forest of Dean

Walking in the forest of dean is one of my favourite pass times. The variety of beautiful countryside is staggering and if you haven’t been before you will be amazed at the amount of wild life that you will see.

This week, she who must be obeyed and I went strolling on the footpaths near to the Speech House on a cold but sunny morning. We saw lots of birds, including the Robin shown left and 2 wild boars.

I will be posting much more on the forest of dean walks over the next couple of months, but we enjoyed it so much after all the rain we have had that I just had to make a quick post today.
