Driving for Lydcare Community Transport

Lydcare Community Transport, transports people to Hospitals, Doctors, Dentists or other general social appointments., throughout Gloucestershire and beyond. I am proud to be one of their drivers. It is a fantastic service that is run by unpaid volunteers in their own cars. Their only remuneration is 50p per mile to help with the petrol expenses, and that is what the customer is charged,

I have driven clients to all the local hospitals, Gloucester Cheltenham, Tewkesbury etc,  and further to Oxford, Birmingham and Wotton Basset.

I have taken Ladies shopping to Lydney, Monmouth , Gloucester and Bristol. I have driven our customers to weddings, christenings and funerals as well as to all the hospitals mentioned above. This week I am taking a lady to the Gloucester Dementia Choir which is a warm environment for socialising, singing and celebrating music, old and new. Taking part is free.

All our drivers will wait for you and then take you home after your visit.

I thoroughly enjoy my time with Lydcare community transport. Driving through the beautiful Forest of Dean and well beyond at times is very enjoyable. Meeting new people is also very nice, and the feeling you get from putting something back into the community is terrific.
