Promoting the Forest of Dean
Promoting the Forest of Dean involves highlighting its unique natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, and diverse recreational opportunities through various initiatives by local authorities and partner organisations and of course local people.
My wife and I have been living here now for over 10 years and we have always done our best to help the local community. The 2 main ways we help to promote the forest of dean are:
- I am a volunteer driver for Lydcare Community Transport
- I run a What’s on in the Forest of Dean Calendar on this site
- I help with local Websites. Currently I am producing Mitchledean Larder Free of Charge
