Dean Radio
Locals will know that Triangle Radio stopped broadcasting in February. According to their web site a new station , Dean Radio will launch from Cinderford on August Bank Holiday 2018. With studios in the Miners hall and a mast at Belle Vue they are set to launch with a variety of programs
They are making claims that this will be a truly local radio station for the Forest of Dean. I certainly wish them all the luck in the world. On their old web page they are asking for volunteers by emailing info@deanradio.co.uk
I emailed them on Tuesday but so far have not had a reply. I do hope that they are not another group who don’t reply to emails but I will update this post if and when I hear back. This is a project that deserves to succeed.

Eddie, yes, we do have holiday’s, we are a group of volunteers who dedicate our spare time for the benefit of our local community by broadcasting and hopefully providing a service that serves the locality. of course this is only as good as the support we get from the community and by the amount of volunteers we have on board. please feel free to join us for an informal chat on Thursday at the Miners Welfare Hall in Cinderford from 7:15.
