New Planting

I have been planning to plant more this weekend, but I need a bit of space. We had already planned to start digging up the new potatoes and after last nights winds here in the forest of dean they are looking a mite dishevelled so we will be starting on Friday to harvest them.

We have broccoli ready for planting so they will go in first and I shall be planting turnip and swede seeds. About half of our leeks have been planted but the rest need to go in soon. 2 Aubergines are also waiting to be planted.

Tomatoes growing in hanging baskets are now starting to flower. All in all it looks like being a good year for vegetables. I will be posting again this weekend after the new vegetables are planted
