I am Living a wonderful life

I’m sure this is true for many others but I am living a wonderful life . All this doom and gloom we get from the media is poisonous. Since I sold my business and retired to the beautiful forest of dean part of glorious Gloucestershire I really couldn’t want for more. It is a gorgeous location and I now have a smashing little cottage in Cinderford that I share with my wonderful wife Vanda

Lots of people said I would be bored, but nothing could be further from the truth. Every day is full and rewarding.

How do we spend our time

We spend a lot of time in the garden. For the first time in many years I can grow my own vegetables which is marvellous. She who must be obeyed makes soup from them most days and it is getting very near to seed planting time.

We both also love to explore the Forest of Dean and visit some of the many wonderful pubs and restaurants that we have locally. You can see some reviews we have given here.

Supporting Local

I have always been passionate about supporting local business, and continue to do so. This site has a free directory of Forest of Dean and Wye valley information and a free calendar of local events.

I am also building a web site for the Four Gates of Gloucester , a non profit site , and do a bit of technical work for the Gloucester Arts Council  and Tewkesbury High Street . I also support Nicks Timber

I no longer take on commercial work but I am more than happy to help any local non profit organisations.
