Forest of Dean

A big thank you to our visitors

Thank you to our visitors

We moved to Cinderford in the Forest of Dean in April 2016 and set up this blog. One of the first things I set up here was our Free Forest of Dean Directory as Both Vanda and I are passionate about supporting local, whether that is local business or local charities and social enterprises. The directory lists all that we could find and we are now getting submissions as well. I have been  very surprised at the number of visitors we are getting, and it is very gratifying. Don’t forget if you see your web site listed here you can claim it and edit or add to  any information there.

Claiming your listings

Claim your listing in the forest of dean directoryClick on any listing to go to the page, as in the example shown in the picture on the left. Click on the claim button and fill in the form. We will get back to you within 24 hours to verify your claim and then you will be able to edit, add more photos etc to your entry. There is no charge for anything on this site.

That’s right, directory listings are 100% free of charge. We appreciate a link back but it is not a requirement, so why not claim your entry and improve it to allow you more visitors.

The nest feature we introduced was our events calendar. Again this is a totally free service.

I also try to blog regularly about our life in the forest of dean and my hobby of gardening.

For such a small niche blog we have been amazed at the number of visitors we get and are grateful for the many nice comments we have had in emails from some of you. So, once again a big thank you from us both and another thank you to our web hosts, SoftData Internet Ltd for flawless hosting.
