A trip to Norfolk, The pier at Cromer

A trip to Norfolk

Norfolk is somewhere I had never been to , but I had always fancied going to but have always been put off by the very long drive – over 5 hours. Last week we finally arranged a trip to Norfolk and stayed in a lovely Bed and Breakfast at Mill House B&B in Overstrand near to Cromer.

The bed and breakfast was delightful, and very near to the coast. Breakfast was superb and generous. We had fruit juice, cereals a full English and toast.

Breakfast in our trip to Norfolk

Overstrand is a very pleasant little village not far from Cromer. We enjoyed a pint at the local pub ( the White Horse ( and had a fantastic meal at the hotel down the road from the pub The Sea Marge Hotel. Vanda had a wonderful dressed Cromer Crab and I enjoyed a fantastic sirloin steak.

A trip to Norfolk – Cromer

Cromer is just a few miles from Mill House B and B and is a very pleasant little seaside town.

We had a fantastic fish and chips in No 1 in Cromer. Freshly cooked and extremely generous portions. It is full of quaint little shops and there is also a smashing little pier.

We both had a wonderful time and would love to visit again, but next time it will not be me driving our car. Five and a half hours is just too long.
