Campaigners in the Forest of Dean threaten to take NHS trust ‘to court

Campaigners in the Forest of Dean say they’ll take two NHS trusts to court over a decision to close the Dilke and Lydney community hospitals.

Gloucestershire Care Services and the Clinical Commissioning Group says the two hospitals are “no longer fit for purpose” and have voted to replace them with a new £11m facility.

But members of a campaign group called HOLD, which is opposed to the decision, say they haven’t been listened to.
