Blogging in and about the Forest of Dean

I do enjoy blogging about the Forest of Dean, but finding time enough to do it justice is becoming more and more difficult. The garden of course takes up a fair bit of my time and maintaining the events calendar is also time consuming but well worth while. We do get a lot of traffic from it, so I don’t blog as often as I would like to nowadays.

I also do a fair bit of volunteering now as it is always good to get out and give something back to my local community. I drive for Lydney Dial-A-Ride & Community Transport which is very rewarding and I am just about to start driving for Gloucestershire Police. That should be interesting, but sadly I have been told it is strictly forbidden to sound the siren or turn on the flashing blue lights.I am due to drive to Gloucester tomorrow to sign forms and get my new ID so another exciting addition to my life.
