The Best Breakfast in Gloucester at Mister’s Cafe and Bistro

We don’t get into Gloucester that often now but people we know that have been regulars at Misters Cafe and Bistro when they were in Cheltenham recommended them and now that they have opened in Westgate Street Gloucester we went in today to try their breakfasts.

I tried The Early Bird* £6.50 Bacon, Sausage, Free Range Egg, Mister’s Mash Brown or Bubble & Squeak and Toast . I chose the mash brown to have  with mine. I have to admit I wished I had chosen a larger breakfast. The whole meal was amazing and it was obvious that the whole meal was freshly prepared and cooked. ext time I will have the larger version.

Vanda chose the Bubble & Squeak* £6.95 Crispy homemade bubble and squeak stack, served with smoked streaky bacon and a soft poached egg, drizzled with hollandaise sauce from the brunch menu that is served all day. She loved it and ate every mouth full. Both of our eggs were cooked to perfection and were beautifully runny.

Finally the coffee was wonderful as well, rich , creamy and strong. I can now say without fear or favour that the best breakfast in Gloucester can be found at Mister’s Cafe and Bistro in Westgate Street Gloucester.
