It has been a terrible year for veg in the garden, and of course we were very late in planting out, but at last we are eating a few bits and pieces. We have eaten the first of our tomatoes and the flavour was incredible. Tomorrow we will be picking courgettes and even the beans are all in full flower so fingers crossed we should get a few.
Sweetcorn we planted are looking good. I can’t wait to try some of them. Sprouts cauliflowers and leeks are all looking good, but it is a bit early for any of them.
Our 2 experiments – Aubergine and Red Pepper are also to my amazement are full of fruit so all in all, a better result than we were expecting. I’m already planning for next season
