Because of the date we moved in here we were very late in starting a vegetable garden and we did consequently have some failures. Not a single pea came up and the beans are pathetic, but some things are at last doing well.
The tomatoes are doing very well, and at last the courgettes are flowering. This morning we can also see some sweetcorn coming. Cabbages and sprouts are growing well but we do have an infestation of cabbage whites, so I reluctantly sprayed them this morning. Fingers crossed we will have some veg this year
