I must say, both Vanda and I are thoroughly enjoying living in Cinderford. We have now planted up the vegetable garden, and we are now having a good time pottering about in it . The CD’s you can see hanging there are our own “scarecrow”. As soon as I planted anything the magpies were there pecking at the plants, so something had to be done.
We have got rid of a horrible pine tree that was casting shade everywhere and every morning I had to wipe the needles off my car which is parked by the side.
I have also equipped myself with some new tools. A hand axe for kindling, a big axe for splitting logs, and a brand new chain saw.
