Another benefit if volunteer Driving

Many of you know that I do volunteer driving for Dial a Ride and Lydcare. Dial a ride is all medical appointments but Lydcare has a wider variety of clients, although medical appointments are still a major parthat Driving through the beautiful Forest of Dean is always a treat, especially in the summer, but another great benefit of volunteer driving is the interesting people that I meet during my volunteering.

Last week, one of my regulars from Coleford told me about her son who now lives in Croatia. Apparently he breeds dogs and has a lot of hives for honey, one of my favourite foods. She then opened her handbag and gave me some photos about him. I thought they were spectacular and asked if I could borrow them to scan in and then send by email to her son.
