Another benefit if volunteer Driving
Many of you know that I do volunteer driving for Dial a Ride and Lydcare. Dial a ride is all medical appointments but Lydcare has a wider variety of clients, although medical appointments are still a major parthat Driving through the beautiful Forest of Dean is always a treat, especially in the summer, but another great benefit of volunteer driving is the interesting people that I meet during my volunteering.
Last week, one of my regulars from Coleford told me about her son who now lives in Croatia. Apparently he breeds dogs and has a lot of hives for honey, one of my favourite foods. She then opened her handbag and gave me some photos about him. I thought they were spectacular and asked if I could borrow them to scan in and then send by email to her son. You can see some of them in this post.

The garden is looking fantastic and we are getting good crops of strawberries, new potates and runnder beans.
