DON’T MISS THE BLUEBELLS – AND BACON BAPS!
As there is not much else on this weekend why not pop down to a local market
in the heart of the Forest!?
There is plenty on offer when you walk round the stalls – local produce including freshly baked bread and buns, fresh fruit and vegetables from a local supplier, delicious preserves, savoury tarts and quiches, local cider and beer, local honey and beeswax, pastries, confectionery and a stall with various Fairtrade items. After you have made your selections you can refresh yourself with a light bite and a drink from the “Café” – a hot coffee and a piece of homemade cake or a bacon and sausage bap perhaps?
And don’t forget that after you have finished you can always then take a walk into the Forest to savour the delights of the Bluebells which are now out in full bloom.
