This practice was established in Ruardean more than 50 years ago and expanded over a period of time to incorporate Cinderford. In 1977 we moved into Cinderford Health Centre but we maintain our branch surgery in Ruardean, from which we dispense.
Today the practice partnership (not limited) is known as Forest Health Care and we endeavour to work as a team. We are a group practice consisting of 3 male partners and 1 female partner. Our aim is to provide comprehensive and continuous care to a consistently high standard.
Cinderford Health Centre was purpose built in 1977 accommodating two separate group practices together with all their ancillary services. In addition the Centre provides offices and consulting facilities for the District Nurses, District Midwives, Health Visitors, Chiropody, Physiotherapy, Orthoptics and Dental services; together with outpatient facilities for visiting consultants and health professionals. The branch surgery at Ruardean is a purpose built facility on a site central to the village.
