The Old Tump House is located in Blakeney on the very edge of
the Forest of Dean and has been renovated to a very high standard.
The property consists of a cosy open-plan kitchen/lounge/dining
area. Three spacious double bedrooms that sleep up to six people.
All bedrooms have contemporary en-suite bathrooms and benefit
from double aspect windows, each with its own great views of the forest and adjacent apple orchard.
Outside there is a patio/lawn area which has seating and a barbecue. Perfect for relaxing after exploring the forest.
There is off-road parking for up to two cars, with additional on street parking approx 200m away.
The owners and their young daughter live in the adjacent house
so are on hand for any advice or should you need anything.
On your arrival you will find a welcome basket including milk, eggs, butter, bread and some ‘Tump Orchard’ cider.
The fully equipped kitchen has an oven, microwave, gas hob, dishwasher, fridge and washing machine.
Please note the cottage has poor mobile coverage (with the exception of Vodafone). However it is possible to use a mobile phone to call the emergency services if your own network is unavailable and an alternative provider has coverage.
